Why Should You Use The Materials Calculator?

You can use this from home, so when you come to a Pioneer Landscape Center, you can quickly get an estimate of the cost.The materials calculator takes some basic information about your yard and what material you want to estimate how much product you need. You need the measurements of your yard regardless, but instead of immediately taking them to a storefront, you can plug the dimensions and shape into the calculator. Once the material calculator has told you how much product you need, you have it ready for our experts.

WHAT MATERIALS CAN YOU PUT INTO THE MATERIALS CALCULATOR?

We have links to the materials calculator on all the products you can use it for. Once you’re looking at the materials calculator, you can click on Choose Material.

From there, you can calculate how much you need of the following:

  • Rip Rap
  • Sand & Aggregates
  • River Rock
  • Cobble
  • Beach Pebbles
  • Topsoil/fill dirt
  • Mulch
  • Soil Mixes
  • Compost
  • Decorative Landscape Rock
  • Blocks

It’s important to note that we can only calculate for three shapes, rectangles, circles, and triangles. If your yard is an irregular shape, we can’t calculate how much you need to fill it. If you wish only to renovate part of your yard in a circular, rectangular, or triangular shape, the materials calculator works perfectly for that. You do need to select your yard shape before entering the dimensions.

Changes in your yard’s elevation and other terrain factors may affect the material calculator’s accuracy. Be sure to speak to a Pioneer Sales Professional so we may help to adjust the calculations as needed.
